“Power Tokens” is a dedicated Peer to Peer reward mechanism powered by the Era Swap to ensure that the most Influential members can encourage other community members on Swappers Wall. The reward system is based on the concept that the actual growth can only be achieved with the growth of the entire community. Here’s how it works.
“Power Tokens” is a Peer to Peer reward system that works within the Era Swap ecosystem with the aim to help the new talent grow by appreciating their efforts with rewards. Power Tokens are Era Swap Utility tokens, having the same value as Era Swap tokens, which are rewarded to the community members who are doing a good job with quality content, post and adding significant value to the platform.
10% of the Newly Released Tokens (NRT) are distributed as Power Tokens among the TimeAlly members as per the total staking. The initial distribution of Power Tokens among the TimeAlly members is done on the basis of the number of tokens they are holding in Time Ally smart contract. Power Tokens cannot be used by Time Ally members for themselves but they have to distribute these tokens to the community members based on their quality post, good behavior, and performance on Swappers Wall. The validity of Power Tokens to be distributed is 30 days after every month allocation, if they are not distributed within this time limit, they will be burnt.
The best part of the Power Tokens system is its transparency which means the distribution of tokens is public to ensure that everyone can see that the tokens are being distributed in accordance with the receiver’s reputation and no biased distribution take place.

A TimeAlly member cannot allocate more than 15% of his/her Power Tokens to a single community member as rewards for their Post or quality content on Swappers Wall. This ensures that the tokens are distributed according to the performance & quality work of members and not through a biased approach.

Once a Time Ally member has given Power Tokens to a community member, he/she cannot allocate more tokens to the same members within a period of 60 days. This ensures that Power Tokens are distributed to multiple members and not just to a specific group.
Community members will receive Power Tokens in two forms – 50% in liquid tokens form and 50% in TimeAlly contract. The ultimate aim of Power Tokens is to help and promote new talents and reward them for their quality content or post on Swappers Wall so that they can nurture in a community-driven environment.
