Different stages of endometriosis
Endometriosis is believed to have four different stages in types based on the extent location and death of endometriosis implants.
•Stage 1 or minimal
There is a very little number of implants. These are usually found on the organs and tissues lining the abdomen or pelvis. No scar tissue is visible in these areas.
•Stage 2 or mild
There are more implants than can be found in stage 1. The implants are at present deeper inside the tissue and scars are visible.
•Stage 3 moderate
There are several dip implants. Small cysts can be seen on both ends of the ovary along with thick bands of scar tissue known as adhesions.
•Stage 4 severe
This is the most white spread infection with deep implants and thick adhesion.
