
Enhancing connectivity by train, frequently used infrastructure, is a boon for tourists and businessmen arriving India. The Indian railways launched five Vande Bharat trains on Tuesday across the country, which were flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for promoting tourism. These Vande Bharat trains will connect six states in the country, frequently visited by domestic and overseas tourists. With the addition of five more trains to the fleet of Vande Bharat trains today, it will be fully integrated into those states where 100% electrification has been accomplished. This is for the first time in Indian history that so many Vande Bharat trains have been launched in one day to promote tourism and business in these states. The Vande Bharat Express’ speed is little less than that of the bullet train, according to the Ministry of Railways bulletin. However, it completed the 0-100 kph trial run in 52 seconds, while the bullet train took 54.6 seconds and this new train has a top speed of 180 kmph.
Vande Bharat Trains Are Bonanza for Promoting Train Tourism
Two of them are for Madhya Pradesh frequently visited by tourists for sightseeing of Gwalior, Orchha and Khajuraho. PM Modi showed the green flag today on the routes where Vande Bharat will operate, including Bhopal-Indore, Bhopal-Jabalpur, Goa-Mumbai, Hatia-Patna, and Bangalore-Dharwad. Bihar, Jharkhand, and Goa, the states popular among have been included in the list of Vande Bharat trains. The Gatimaan Express is one the highest speed trains in India running between Delhi and Agra regularly, with a top speed of 160 km/h. The Vande Bharat Express is one of the short-distance train services operated by Indian Railways. Similar to Shatabdi Express (Delhi-Agra), these are day train services that connect major Indian cities which are in a distance of less than a day’s time. It will immensely benefit tourists and businessmen in the region and will be about 35 minutes faster than the existing superfast train on the route. Vande Bharat Bringing Indian Railway at Par with World
Presently, India has 18 Vande Bharat Express trains across multiple routes. Vande Bharat Express is an indigenously manufactured train, semi-high-speed, self-propelled train system. The train has state-of-the-art passenger friendly amenities, providing passengers with a faster, more comfortable, and more convenient travel experience. If we compare the fastest train connecting the two places, the Hatia-Patna Vande Bharat Express will help save about one hour and 20 minutes of the travel time, it said. It will immensely benefit important tourist sites like Mahakaleshwar, Mandu, Mahakaleshwar and Khajuraho. The train will be about two hours and 30 minutes faster than the existing trains on the same route. The newly started Madgaon (Goa)- Mumbai Vande Bharat Express train will run between Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Goa’s Madgaon station.
