The automated optical inspection helps manufacturing units detect errors and damages easily. Be it inline 3d solder paste inspection, they are available from different companies. In such a situation it is difficult to identify the best AOI machine. The only way to solve this problem is through inspection of every machine from different manufacturers. However, even for the same, you need to figure out the factors that are to be looked at for the selection of the best machine out of all.
Three Simple Tips To Select The Best Automated Optical Inspection Machine For Better Performance
• Resolution
Before purchasing any automated optical illusion machine even if it is 3D AOI make sure to check the resolution. It should be higher than 12 µm above for better vision. Such optical can be used for checking both minor as well as major defects. Therefore make sure to only get an AOI of higher optical resolution to avoid problems.
• Special Features In Automated Optical Inspection
Automated optical inspection machines must have some additional features. The same help uses them for multiple purposes and in a better way. For example, the one with a springboard also helps in zone selection. In such cases, compare AOI machines to find the one that has the best features.
• Cost-Effectiveness
Along with all this, it is equally essential to figure out if it fits well into your budget. You also need to check if you are getting what you have paid for. Only then you can be assured that you have made a wise selection. There is no point in paying higher rates for something and later on getting nothing in return for the same.
In this way, one needs to check all these aspects before purchasing an automated optical inspection machine. After reading this, there won’t be any confusion in selecting the best AOI for your manufacturing unit. One would easily find a variety of systems with several features that fit into one’s budget. Therefore while selecting the AOI machine always look for quality and not the amount being spent.
